About Scottwood Bed and Breakfast

scottwood_room Built as early as 1795, the house once stood on Ironworks Pike in Scott County. The house was moved in April 1971, to its present location just outside of Lexington, Kentucky near Midway, in Woodford County. The original wings of the Federal house were restored by Jim Cogar, who was the first curator of Colonial Williamsburg, Va and who also restored Historical Shaker Village near Harrodsburg, KY. With an addition to the rear, the property is now a beautiful 9-room country estate.
